I want to serve in a particular company, what do I do? You will be posted to your place of Primary Assignment based on your Area of Specialization and the needs of the state you are deployed to. What is the procedure for married women who want to be deployed to where their husbands are? They must submit the following to their SAO: a) Marriage Certificate b) Newspaper Change of Name c) Evidence of husband's place of work or Domicile.
These should be done in good time before the Masterlist are sent to the NYSC NDHQ.
I need special medical care. Can I be deployed to where my parents are for proper medical attention? Yes, if you submit sufficient medical record and history from your Institution's Medical Centre or a recognised Government Hospital indicating that you have been receiving treatment as a student. These documents and your application must be submitted to your SAO in good time before the Masterlist is sent to the NYSC HQ. I am the only one that can take care of my aged parent. Can I be deployed to my state of origin? No. The NYSC posting policy does not allow an individual to be posted to his/her State of Origin . REDEPLOYMENT/RELOCATION I am married and was posted outside where my husband lives, what do I do? Report to the Orientation Camp and register. You can then apply to be relocated to where your husband is with the documents listed below as evidence: a) Marriage Certificate b) Newspaper Change of Name c) Evidence of husband's place of work or Domicile. ORIENTATION How do I know the address of the Orientation Camp? It is written on the Call-up letter. What documents do I need to produce during the registration at the Orientation Camp? It is written on the bask-side Call-up letter. What do I need to take to the Orientation camp as personal effects? Check behind the Call-up letter. My Call-up letter is missing or stolen, what do I do? You need to obtain a Police Report and a Sworn Affidavit. Submit same to your SAO to process accordingly. You will be mobilized in the next Batch. My Call-up letter got missing or stolen. Can I still be admitted into the Orientation camp with a photocopy? No. The NYSC does not register prospective Corps Members with photocopies of Call-up letters. See the previous Answer for what to do. How much money do I take to camp? You will be fed and paid your allowances while in the Orientation Camp. You are advised against carrying large amounts of money to the camp.
